The 272 Series consolidates the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single versatile platform, offering up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and continuous-duty ratings with a 30% de-rate. Nine available speed ratios and 18 shift options make this series adaptable across aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, and water truck applications. Output options include round shaft configurations, and the series supports an integral air control valve, rotatable flanges, a wet-spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft life, and Smart-Start for high-torque startup conditions.
