The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off, part number 272XSJWX-A5XD or 272XSJWXA5XD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty working equipment. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic (PowerShift), with an integral air control valve included. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into one platform with upgraded internal components.
