281GCFJP-B3XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GCFJP-B3XV or 281GCFJPB3XV, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. It carries a single, continuous duty torque rating and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high speeds. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the predecessor 280 Series, resisting premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce pump clearance interference, and a Positive Stop on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. A hose is included.
