The Chelsea 281GDFJP-H8XV or 281GDFJPH8XV is a Power Take-Off assembly built around a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and a single continuous-duty torque rating simplifies spec selection. The O-ring sealing configuration reduces the effect of vibration and improves clamp load compared to older seal designs. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the driveline output uses a positive-stop design to eliminate oil seal damage from coupling contact. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up, and the Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment.
