The Chelsea 281GDKVP-H5XD or 281GDKVPH5XD is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted, hot-shift Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. As an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack disc to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed operation. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO and DIN flange configurations, and driveline outputs with a positive stop to eliminate oil seal damage. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) protects driven equipment, and the wet spline lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
