The Chelsea 281GGFJP-B5BD or 281GGFJPB5BD is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) power take-off designed for 10-bolt automatic transmission apertures, including Allison applications. This series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and nine available speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and the enhanced clutch pack uses 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature wear. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and reduces the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues, and the Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling.
