The Chelsea 281GGFJW-D5RF or 281GGFJWD5RF is a 281 Series Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly matched to Allison transmissions. This hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) hot-shift PTO supports continuous-duty operation with a series continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed ranges. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel disc clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fitment issues. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is included for driven-equipment protection. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
