The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 281GKFJP-E3RK or 281GKFJPE3RK, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for 10-bolt aperture automatic transmissions, including Allison applications. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an improved o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed applications. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline outputs.
