281GKFJP-K5XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 281GKFJP-K5XD or 281GKFJPK5XD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture - commonly Allison and Caterpillar units. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc design to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios span both low and high ranges, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times compared to standard configurations.
