281GMFJP-B8SD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GMFJP-B8SD or 281GMFJPB8SD is a hydraulically shifted, hot-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 281 Series, designed for 10-bolt automatic transmission apertures commonly found on Allison transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and shifts via hydraulic PowerShift, supporting continuous-duty operation. The 281 Series improves on the 280 Series with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Wet Spline Lubrication and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) are available within the series.
