281GMKVP-B8RK Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GMKVP-B8RK or 281GMKVPB8RK, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. The 281 Series is an evolution of Chelsea's top-selling 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load and vibration resistance. The clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the prior generation to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is included to protect driven equipment. Available with a Wet Spline Lubrication option for up to 7-10 times greater output shaft life.
