The Chelsea 281GSFJP-D8RK or 281GSFJPD8RK is a 281 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. As a hydraulically shifted PowerShift PTO, it is built for continuous-duty operation. The 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch discs that are 80% thicker than those in the predecessor 280 Series. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed requirements. Common markets include fire and rescue, refuse, truck cranes, and pumper-cleaner trucks.
