The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GSFJW-B3RF or 281GSFJWB3RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. Built as an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist vibrational damage from modern engine designs. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flanges, and driveline configurations. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications.
