281GTFJP-B3XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJP-B3XD or 281GTFJPB3XD, is a hydraulically shifted PowerShift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. It is the direct evolution of the 280 Series, with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration-related damage. The clutch pack features steel discs that are 80% thicker than the previous generation, resisting premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. The Wet Spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce pump clearance interference, and the Positive Stop feature for driveline outputs protects oil seals from coupling damage.
