281GTFJP-B3SD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GTFJP-B3SD or 281GTFJPB3SD is a 281 Series Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. It uses hydraulic PowerShift (hot shift) engagement, allowing the PTO to be engaged without stopping the vehicle. The 281 Series carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft and supports nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. A ductile iron bearing cap provides 117% greater strength compared to gray iron, and the o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. The clutch pack features steel discs 80% thicker than the previous 280 Series design.
