The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GTAJX-P3XD or 282GTAJXP3XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO rated for continuous and intermittent torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm). It accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is keyed with a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM (21 kW and 43 kW respectively). The 282 Series includes an integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional wet-spline configuration for extended PTO and pump shaft service life.
