The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBDAX-A5BD or 282XBDAXA5BD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern. It accepts both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift operation and features an integral air valve. The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" keyway. The 282 Series is rated for continuous-duty operation up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output runs 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and select other makes.
