The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XBDAX-A5XD or 282XBDAXA5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off with an 8-bolt mounting pattern and a 1-1/4" round output shaft keyed with a 5/16" key. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, with an integral air valve built into the unit. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other applications. Direct-mount outputs offer optional Wet-Spline technology to extend PTO and pump shaft service life.
