The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBDAX-V5XD or 282XBDAXV5XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO rated for up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and up to 201-300 lb-ft intermittent. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift type is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. Flanges are rotatable, and the assembly supports the optional Wet-Spline and Smart Start configurations.
