The Chelsea 282XDAJX-13BV or 282XDAJX13BV is an 8-bolt PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, a medium-duty hot-shift platform rated for continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. Shaft power output runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series is engineered for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. Rotatable flanges and a Smart Start option for high-torque startup are built into the design. This unit fits transmissions from Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and select others.
