The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-A3XV or 282XGAJXA3XV, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft fitted with a 5/16" key, and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft and an intermittent torque range of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and Smart Start option for high-torque start-up make this unit well suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
