The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6807-P1IX or CS8SU6807P1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit offers SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types to suit different pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
