The Chelsea 282XKAJX-V3XD or 282XKAJXV3XD is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, giving fleets flexibility in how they configure shift controls. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key and delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque, with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other specified units.
