The Chelsea 282XMDAX-15XV or 282XMDAX15XV is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift power take-off from the 282 Series. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque or 201-300 lb-ft intermittent, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. The 282 Series carries an integral air valve, rotatable flanges, an optional wet-spline configuration for extended pump shaft life, and a Smart Start option for high-torque engagement.
