The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-A3RY or 282XPAJXA3RY, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission families, this unit fits aerial, construction, water truck, towing and recovery, and fuel oil delivery applications.
