The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XSAJX-P3BD or 282XSAJXP3BD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO rated for up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and up to 300 lb-ft intermittent. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Flanges are rotatable for flexible installation. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shaft power output runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Applications include aerial equipment, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery.
