The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XSDAX-A5RK or 282XSDAXA5RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding vocational applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key and accepts either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 282 Series delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent, with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional Wet-Spline output make this unit well-suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
