The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XTAJX-A3BD or 282XTAJXA3BD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 282 Series carries a continuous-duty torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional Smart Start feature for high-torque engagement set this series apart in fuel oil delivery, aerial, towing, construction, and water truck applications.
