The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off (part number 288GCFJP-M3RS or 288GCFJPM3RS) is a 10-bolt, constant mesh PTO built on a cast iron housing with a round output shaft (1-inch, 1/4-inch key). The 288 Series delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, enabled by wider gears and larger-capacity bearings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, while an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the effects of engine vibration and improves clamp load. A positive-stop output shaft eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges.
