The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XBFJP-M3RS or 878XBFJPM3RS, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. Built around a cast iron housing, it carries a single continuous duty torque rating and supports nine speed ratios spanning both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Rotatable cast iron flanges minimize interference clearance issues, and a positive stop on driveline outputs protects oil seals from coupling damage. A hose is included with the assembly.
