The Chelsea 288GCFJW-M3RS or 288GCFJWM3RS is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off from Chelsea's heavy-duty 288 Series. Built on the 281 Series platform, the 288 Series delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft through wider gears and larger-capacity bearings. The cast iron housing is designed for demanding applications including refuse, aerial, vacuum, and snow and ice equipment. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibration-related clamp load loss. The standard output shaft is a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key and includes a positive stop feature to protect the oil seal from driveline coupling damage.
