The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GCFJW-M5RY or 288GCFJWM5RY, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the proven 281 Series platform. The 288 Series delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, made possible by wider gears and larger capacity bearings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration from modern engine designs. The round output shaft with positive stop eliminates oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Wet Spline Lubrication, where specified, extends pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
