The Chelsea 288GMFJP-M5RS or 288GMFJPM5RS is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly from the 288 Series platform. Built on the proven 281 Series architecture, this PTO delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, making it a practical choice for refuse, aerial, vacuum, and snow-and-ice applications. The output shaft features a positive stop design to prevent oil seal damage from driveline couplings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and the o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load.
