The Chelsea 288GMFJP-M3XD or 288GMFJPM3XD is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off assembly from Chelsea's heavy-duty 288 Series. Built on the 281 Series platform, the 288 Series delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with a cast iron housing and wider gears backed by larger capacity bearings. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the damaging vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The standard output shaft features a round shaft with 1-1/4" key and a positive stop for driveline outputs, which eliminates oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Wet Spline lubrication is available and delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. A hose is included.
