The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GAITX-A3XD or 489GAITXA3XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accommodates a keyed connection. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other 8-bolt-aperture manual transmissions.
