The Chelsea 489GAITX-A3XQ or 489GAITXA3XQ is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly with an 8-bolt one-piece cast iron housing that mounts directly to compatible manual transmissions, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec, without an adapter plate. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-carrying capability, and internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
