The Chelsea 489 Series PTO Assembly, part number 489GFITX-V5XK or 489GFITXV5XK, is an 8-bolt, wire/cable mechanical shift unit designed for Eaton/Fuller and Volvo/Mack transmissions, as well as select other applications. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round type, available with or without a key. Intermittent torque rating falls in the 201-300 lb-ft range (check Chelsea application pages for the exact figure for your application). Shaft power output at 1,000 RPM is 48 HP. The 489 Series shares internal components with the Chelsea 442 Series, simplifying parts stocking and field service. The kit-style design allows in-place servicing without full removal.
