The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHAHX-A5RA or 489GHAHXA5RA, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This unit delivers an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, and shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
