The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHITX-V5GB or 489GHITXV5GB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings on Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and compatible transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque capacity for this series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
