The Chelsea 489GHITX-A3GK or 489GHITXA3GK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to the 8-bolt aperture on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. This PTO uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load capacity, and delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range with output power of 46-55 HP. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is compatible with key-drive configurations. Internal components are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
