The Chelsea 489GHITX-A3RB or 489GHITXA3RB is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. This unit shifts via wire/cable mechanical actuation and delivers up to 250 lb-ft of intermittent torque with an output power range of 46-55 HP. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the kit-style design simplifies service.
