The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GHITX-V5XK or 489GHITXV5XK, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible manual transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates an adapter plate and its associated leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift type; output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque rating for this series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
