The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489GQAHX-A3GA or 489GQAHXA3GA, bolts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate used on some other PTO designs, removing a common leak path. The 489 Series delivers the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with output shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key accommodates a wide range of pump and accessory drives. Eleven internal speed ratios and shift options are available across the 489 Series.
