The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 489XAAHX-A3RA or 489XAAHXA3RA, mounts directly to 8-bolt transmission openings on compatible Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manual transmissions. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate found on many installations, removing a potential leak path. Wire/cable mechanical shift is standard on this configuration, with an electric-over-air shift option available in the series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM, with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series.
