The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-A3RF or 489XCAHXA3RF, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating a potential leak path. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque rating. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Compatible manual transmission manufacturers include Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others with an 8-bolt aperture.
