The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XCAHX-V3RE or 489XCAHXV3RE, is an 8-bolt PTO designed for manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission's 8-bolt opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Intermittent torque rating for this series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm), with output power ranging from 46 to 55 HP. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is accomplished via wire/cable mechanical actuation. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
