The Chelsea 489XCITX-A3XD or 489XCITXA3XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission aperture, removing the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift actuation is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with key. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm) and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
