The Chelsea 489XCITX-A5XD or 489XCITXA5XD is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. This unit delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM or 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft is available with a keyway. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for increased load-carrying capability. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
