The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-A3GF or 489XFAHXA3GF, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path compared to units that require one. Output shaft is a 1-1/4" round configuration with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. Intermittent torque rating for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
