The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFAHX-V3RE or 489XFAHXV3RE, mounts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Volvo, and Mack without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate leak path while delivering the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, rated at 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). The wire/cable mechanical shift drives a 1-1/4" round output shaft, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity.
